| Oxoalcohols /plasticisers are chemical compounds added to a plastic to increase flexibility. Characteristics such as elasticity, flexibility and softness are thereby positively influenced both for processing and for use. The special thing about plasticisers is that they do not react chemically with the materials but simply alter their physical characteristics. All the plasticisers in our product range are odourless and colourless, and resistant to light, temperature and water. Oxoalcohols are used as plasticisers for plastics, in the manufacture of paints and lacquers, in aromatic compounds and adhesives and in PVC or latex. |
