History

B+S Chemie GmbH, a company with tradition!

More than 25 years ago the company B+S Chemiehandel GmbH, located in Alsdorf-Hoengen, Poststrasse in Germany was found. Right in the beginning in 1979, the company with a work-force of three persons moved plastics raw materials and chemical products from eastern European countries in the west and reverse.

Contemporaneous to the rising globalisation also the B+S deepened their core competency “Eastern Europe” in the last few years. The company disposes about 12 authorisations of international manufacturer, in whose name the B+S is allowed to purchase.

As distributor of different producers, we supply products like Polyacetale, Polyamide or plasticizer not only to our customers in western Europe even all over the world. As a countermove to this we export raw materials like Polyethylene and Polypropylene into the eastern economic area up to Asia and we are not stopping short of precarious countries.

To campaign for the interests of our business partners in the best way, we opened an office in Moscow and founded an independent subsidiary in Poland. Agencies in France, Portugal, Spain, Italy as well as in the Benelux serve as contact person for you on-site.

Over the course of the years we transferred the own stock-keeping to selected forwarder, which execute stock-keeping and consignment in our name. So we are able to react on changes of the market and the requirements of our business partners in a better way. Furthermore we dispose about tanks in Antwerp and in Portugal for the stocking of DOP to be able to supply our customers in a direct and fast way.

Since 1997 the company is known under the name B+S Chemie GmbH. Apart from the change of the company name from B+S Chemiehandel GmbH in B+S Chemie GmbH, nothing else changed. Knowledge and proficiency on the market still stayed the same, they were even refined increasingly. So the company made known itself an enjoys a good reputation in its branch.

With actually 15 qualified employees, we move ca. 8.000 tons of plastics raw materials and chemical products all over the world.
